Terri is spokesperson for the State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science. In this role, she works on a broad range of topics, including strengthening foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy and digital skills, addressing teacher shortages, and advancing gender equality and emancipation. Previously, she worked as a policy officer at the ministry, focusing on the internationalisation of higher education. Before joining the ministry, she served as chair of the Intercity Student Organisation (ISO), representing over 800,000 students in Dutch higher education and advocating for their interests in discussions with government, educational institutions and the media.
