Lotte Meerhoff

Lotte is a dedicated young politician and advocate for social and climate justice. As a city councillor for PRO in Eindhoven she works to advance climate action while also tackling poverty and inequality. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Decision Science, where her thesis explorer the impact of the climate assessment (klimaattoets) on local governmental decision-making. Alongside her political work, Lotte serves as Team Lead Strategy at the Dutch Poverty Foundation (Armoedefonds). In this role, she focuses on advocacy and public affairs, working with politicians, ministries and policymakers to put poverty on the political agenda and strengthen support for people in financial distress. A key part of her work is ensuring that the experiences of people living in poverty are heard where decisions are made. Lotte has joined Network 2100 in 2023. She is exited to work alongside passionate individuals and contribute to a collective vision where decisions are guided not only by financial returns, but by societal impact and long-term sustainability.
