Danny is a lawyer and founder of New Paradigm, a mission-driven, not-for-profit law firm focused on sustainability, responsible business, privacy and digitalisation. Through his work, Danny seeks to use the law as a practical lever for transition: helping organisations embed data protection and digital responsibility into their governance, contracts and decision-making.

Alongside New Paradigm, Danny is the founder and chair of Stichting Recht voor Klimaat — a growing legal movement of more than 400 lawyers, legal scholars and other legal professionals. Recht voor Klimaat explores how law can help accelerate the transition to a society that operates within planetary boundaries, by developing legal knowledge, tools and networks and by mobilising jurists to make climate-conscious legal practice part of the new business as usual.

Danny also serves as a Secretary of the Supervisory Board of Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF), an international ecofeminist network working for a healthy, just and sustainable world.
